Interactive 05 / Kinetic manuscript

INK
LINE

An ink courier bounds through a living paper architecture of seals and calligraphic paths

A runner crosses an unfinished world with one impossible instrument: every movement leaves a memory. Across five scrolls, that memory becomes ground, folds rooms, returns as a second hand, carries force, and binds ordered cadences into architecture.

INKLINE // FIVE SCROLLS

A kinetic platform manuscript

Your movement
rewrites the room.

Run, rebound, tether, and cast movement as solid Echo Ink. Fold geometry through Echo Seals. Release a Living Margin to wake Watchers. Sound Resonance Rings with body, echo, or memory. The final scroll asks you to activate those voices in authored order, binding cadences that write the last paths into being.

Featured game / Where it started

A childhood classic, rebuilt in our image.

I wanted the feeling I remembered: a tiny figure, a hard room, and movement good enough to make one more attempt feel inevitable. The original executable was a reference point, never source material.

INKLINE is the game that memory turned into. Its code, fifty trials, art, names, movement systems, and progression were built clean-room from scratch. Wall skims lead to Echo Ink, living memories, force rings, and a final manuscript that answers how you moved through it.

Eight verbs. One line.

The room is not fixed.
It remembers how you moved.

01

Carry momentum

Accelerate into a run, trim a jump, skim a wall, and spend one midair redirection.

02

Catch the blue

Tether to an anchor. Hold to bend your trajectory; release to preserve it.

03

Cast the echo

Your last three seconds become temporary footing. A path taken once can become a bridge taken twice.

04

Break the seal

Carry an echo through a blue seal to fold platforms into the page—or remove the wall that was holding you back.

05

Release the margin

Send remembered movement back through Watchers. Your past opens one route while your present runs another.

06

Sound the page

Strike a red Resonance Ring with enough speed—or send ink through it. The ring preserves that force and redirects it.

07

Bind the cadence

Activate red, blue, and gold marks in the authored order. A completed phrase writes its matching path into the room.
